Usually in Japan whisky manufacturers do not exchange casks with one another. In 2017 the Sabumaru / Wakatsuru barrels exchanged with the Nagahama distillery. This blended malt whisky was then launched on the Japanese market in early 2021. As the name suggests, lightly peated whiskys were used for this blended malt whisky. A total of only 7000 bottles were produced and are completely sold out in Japan.
