Sasnokawa / Yamazakura Pure Malt Asaka New Born Single Cask Set of 10

In 2017, Yamazakura's new distillery released nine different new pots (the distillate has not yet been aged for three years and is not yet eligible to be called whisky) single casks. This strictly limited set of ten was only available for a very short time and is now long gone.

The following nine New Pots are included in this set:

• Cask 17001 , New Japanese Oak Cask (Mizunara) First Fill, distilled on 21.12.2916, bottled on 28.06.2017 at 61.7% 331 bottles

• Cask 6226 , American Bourbon Barrel First Fill, distilled on 17.09.2016, bottled on 27.06.2017 at 63.3% 254 bottles

• Cask 17101 , American Bourbon Barrel First Fill, distilled on 25.12.2016, bottled on 27.06.2017 at 61.2% 272 bottles

• Cask 5008 , New American Oak Barrel First Fill, distilled on 28.10.2016, bottled on 27.06.2017 with 62.9% 271 bottles

• Cask 17003 , New American Oak Barrel First Fill, distilled on 05.01.2017, bottled on 27.06.2017 at 63.3% 269 bottles

• Cask 6214, American Bourbon Barrel First Fill, distilled on November 16, 2016, bottled on June 27, 2017 at 64.4% ABV , 277 bottles

• Cask 17002 , New Japanese Oak Cask (Mizunara) First Fill, distilled on 05.01.2016, bottled on 28.06.2017 at 62.7% 275 bottles
