This special Yamazaki 12 bottling dates back to the late 1980s. At that time, the term "single malt whisky" didn't yet exist in Japan, and therefore all single malts from Japan were still called "pure malt." This Yamazaki 12 was bottled in a porcelain bottle from the Japanese city of Arita, known for its exceptional porcelain.

A unique collector's bottle!

The bottle is a little dirty on the wooden cork but all seals are still intact.

Aroma: Fruity with vanilla, banana, tropical fruits and a hint of smoke
Taste: With wood and floral notes and pleasantly mild
Aftertaste: Medium finish, with malt, oak and caramel
