This whisky from Sakurao was first matured in bourbon casks and then finished in ex-Islay casks, giving it a lovely peaty note. Since autumn 2023, the whiskies contained in this blend have been 100% distilled in Japan, and no imported whiskies are used for any Togouchi non-age statement whiskies.
