This whisky from Sakurao first matured in bourbon casks and received a finish in ex-Islay casks, which give it a beautiful peaty note. The whiskies contained have been 100% distilled in Japan since autumn 2023, and no imported whiskies are used for any Togouchi whiskies without an age statement anymore.
