The Akkeshi Single Malt Japanese Whisky Peated Rikka

The 'Rikka' (translated as 'Beginning of Summer') is a spectacular, peated single malt creation from the Akkeshi Distillery in Hokkaido. As the 7th edition of the coveted solar-based seasonal series (24 Sekki), the whisky features a richly illustrated label with blue irises. Bottled at a robust 55% vol., this masterful single malt combines an untamed Islay-style peat profile with a fantastic maritime sea air note, sweet citrus marmalade, and a hint of pepper.
