The second edition of "The Essence of Suntory Whisky" was officially released only in bars and was never available for purchase in stores in Japan. All three bottlings come from the Yamazaki distillery and feature a "Spanish finish" in the form of various cask ageings. These were bottled at cask strength.

The set includes the following 500ml bottles:

Yamazaki 2009 Montilla Wine Cask 9 years at 55%
