In the early 2010s, Suntory launched the final series of Suntory Royal 15 Years on the Japanese market. It was bottled not in the typical 700ml bottle, but in a 660ml bottle. Furthermore, this version has only 40% ABV, rather than the usual 43%. Since this bottling was not a success, it quickly disappeared from store shelves.
