This very rare, premium blend is considered by connoisseurs to be the ultimate Japanese blend from the 1980s and 1990s. Kaizo Saji, who served as president of Suntory until the 1990s, personally selected the malt and grain whiskies for this blend. This bulbous bottle is one of the first bottlings from the early 1980s and is extremely rare. Even the Japanese government was so enamored with this whisky that it was served at state banquets in the 1980s and early 1990s.
Due to its age, the bottle shows slight signs of aging.
