In mid-2021, Suntory launched a limited edition of Hibiki on the Japanese market. In addition to being matured in plum wine casks, this version also received a finish in Japanese cherry wood casks. As these bottles were exclusively distributed through bars and restaurants in Japan, they are virtually impossible to find.
