After Suntory discontinued the Hibiki 17 Year Old, the Hibiki Blender's Choice was launched in Japan in the same month. For this premium blend, only selected malt and grain whiskies with a minimum age of 15 years were used. What is an absolute novelty with this blend is that, for the first time, whiskies with a red wine cask finish were also used!
