In 2022, the Shizuoka Distillery launched its first blended whisky on the Japanese market. It used imported malt and grain whiskies, as well as malt whiskies from the legendary Karzuzawa still. Only 5,555 bottles were produced exclusively for the Japanese market at a hefty 48% ABV, and are now sold out everywhere.
