Shizuoka Distillery Single Cask "Jwhisky Kranich" 2021-968 Non-Peated

We are proud to present the continuation of the 2022 bottling from Japan. This is the second part of a new series that will be released over the next few years. For the third whisky in the series, we have selected an unpeated single cask whisky from the Shizuoka distillery. This whisky was distilled in the last remaining pot still at the Karuizawa distillery and matured in bourbon casks for over three years before being bottled at a robust 52.7% ABV. It contains no coloring and was not chill-filtered. Only 52 bottles were produced in total.

The label depicts a crane (tsuru) from a famous 19th-century Japanese painting. The motif was printed on traditional Japanese washi paper.

Only one bottle per person and household is permitted.

For logistical reasons, we cannot accommodate requests for a specific bottle number.
