In May 2022, Japanese spirits distributor Liquor Mountain released this single cask bottling to the Japanese market. This whisky was distilled in the last remaining pot still of the Karuizawa distillery and aged in bourbon barrels for more than three years before bottling at a hefty 62.9% ABV. Only 219 bottles were produced.
