Sasanokawa / Yamazakura Merlot Wine Cask Finish

This strictly limited bottling, 300 bottles worldwide, was released exclusively for the Japanese department store Mitsukoshi / Isetan at the end of 2019 and sold out within hours. Only select malt whiskies from Sasanokawa's two distilleries were used, which were finished in Merlot red wine casks. The result is a very mild yet powerful whisky with a beautiful fruity red wine flavor.
