In Japan, whisky producers do not usually exchange casks with one another. In 2017, Sabumaru / Wakatsuru exchanged casks with Nagahama Distillery. In early 2025, this blended malt whisky was launched on the Japanese market. As its name suggests, lightly peated whiskies were used to create this blended malt whisky.
