An outstanding single malt from Osuzuyama Distillery in Miyazaki (Kuroki Honten, established 1998). Made from locally grown barley, malted using the traditional, labour-intensive 'Box Malting' method. Matured entirely in selected American white oak casks. This unfiltered, fantastically structured whisky displays delicate woody sweetness, grain aromas and an elegant minerality.
