This whisky has an unusual maltiness for a Japanese malt. The peat note gives the whisky an earthy character. That is why it is special among Japanese whiskies. The Yoichi Single Malt Whisky is one of the six great malt whiskies in the world according to the world-famous whisky critic Jim Murray.
Aroma: Crisp fresh, apple peels and pears with a hint of smoke
Taste: On the palate, clear medium-long body, with a fruity and floral note, and a light peat smoke taste
Aftertaste: Long finish, with a light spicy, smoky note.
