Named after the founder of the Nikka distillery, it's an absolute must for every whisky drinker. It won the gold medal at the International Spirits Challenge in 2008. This bottling was discontinued three years ago. Especially in this bottle design and the filling volume of only 180ml, the Taketsuru 12 is extremely rare, as it was only produced for the Japanese market.
Aroma: Fruity, apple, peach and malty sweetness
Taste: Sweet, balanced and balanced on the palate, taste of caramel, malt and fruit
Aftertaste: Long finish, very balanced, round and delicate.
Award: San Francisco World Spirits Competition: Gold award at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2008.
