This special Nikka bottling was released in the 1980s. With the words "The Pen is mightier than the Sword" printed on the front of the bottle, Nikka aimed to commemorate the English writer Edward Bulwer-Lytton, who used these words in his play "Richelieu." As this bottling was released in very limited quantities, it is exceedingly rare.

Due to its age, the bottle shows signs of storage and use.
