In early 2020, Nikka released the limited-edition 6,450-bottle bottling from the Miyagikyo distillery, finished in its own apple brandy casks, to celebrate the 100th wedding anniversary of Masataka Taketsuru and Rita. This bottling sold out within hours and is now very difficult to obtain.
