Normally, whisky producers in Japan don't exchange casks with each other. In 2017, Sabumaru / Wakatsuru exchanged casks with the Nagahama Distillery. This Blended World Whisky was then launched on the Japanese market in early 2022. Only 6,000 bottles of this third edition were produced, and they are now completely sold out in Japan.
