Normally, whisky producers in Japan don't exchange casks with each other. In 2017, Sabumaru / Wakatsuru exchanged casks with the Nagahama Distillery. This blended malt world whisky was launched on the Japanese market in early 2022. Only 600 bottles of this second edition were produced, and they are now completely sold out in Japan.
