Normally, whisky producers in Japan don't exchange casks with each other. In 2017, Sabumaru / Wakatsuru exchanged casks with the Nagahama Distillery. This blended malt world whisky was launched on the Japanese market in early 2021. Only 600 bottles were produced, and they are now completely sold out in Japan.
