In October 2021, the Nagahama Distillery released a new single cask bottling on the Japanese market. It was exclusively for Japan and limited to 592 bottles. It was a malt whisky aged just under four years in a Burgundy wine cask and bottled at 56.8% ABV. An absolute rarity.
