This bottling is the second from Nagahama. Bottled at 47% ABV in early 2021, it blends only select malt whiskies from the distillery's own distillery, produced from peated barley malt, with peated whiskies from around the world. This step was necessary because the distillery hadn't yet produced enough whisky to warrant a bottling with whiskies from its own distillery. Amahagan is simply Nagahama spelled backwards.
