Mercian was the last owner of the legendary Ocean/Karuizawa distillery before it closed in 2002. This version of the Ship Bottle was released on the Japanese market in 2000 and was the last version before the distillery closed. It is also considerably rarer than the older versions, as it was only produced in small quantities for just under two years.

The bottle and the outer packaging show signs of storage and use!
