Mercian was the last owner of the legendary Ocean/Karuizawa distillery before it closed in 2002. This version of the Ship Bottle was released on the Japanese market in 2000 and was the last version before the distillery closed. This version, featuring whiskies aged at least 8 years, is extremely rare, as it was only produced for a very short time in very small quantities.

The bottle and outer packaging show signs of storage and use.
