For this bottling from the 1990s, only whiskies from the Ocean and Karuizawa distilleries were used. The name White comes from the uncolored whisky. Mercian closed both distilleries in 2003, and they were demolished. Anyone who has always wanted to try a Karuizawa whisky should try this, as a significant portion of the whisky comes from the Karuizawa distillery.
