Mercian / Karuizawa Oak Master

The Oak Master from Karuizawa was one of the last everyday whiskies from the legendary Karuizawa distillery, which closed in 2003. Although this whisky was only bottled at 37% abv, it retains the typical characteristics of a Karuizawa whisky. This version was the last release from the Karuizawa distillery before it was discontinued and Kirin continued the Oak Master series with whisky from the Fuji Gotemba distillery.
