In 2022, the Japanese bottler released this 14-year-old Macallan Single Cask to the Japanese market. It matured for just over 14 full years in a sherry butt cask before being bottled at a hefty 56.5% ABV. A total of only 340 bottles were bottled for the Japanese market. This third-party bottling is one of the few where Macallan is still listed as the distillery on the label.
