This 8-year-old whisky, the little brother of the 12-year-old, from Kurayoshi is characterized by its creamy and mild flavor. Compared to the sherry cask bottlings, the sherry content is less pronounced in this one, and the influence of the American white oak casks is more noticeable. A beautiful blend from Japan's newest distillery, Kurayoshi.
Taste: candied nuts, toasted bread and vanilla
Aftertaste: medium finish with a slightly malty note
