Compared to the sherry cask bottlings, the sherry content in this one is lower, and the influence of the oak casks is more noticeable. A beautiful pure malt whisky from Japan's newest distillery, Kurayoshi.
Aroma: malty and discreetly spiced aroma of bread and hay
Taste: creamy, soft and sweet body, with malt, gentle spice, vanilla and oak tannins
Aftertaste: medium-long, oaky, spicy and slightly smoky finish
