Kirin introduced this pure malt whisky to the Japanese market in the 1980s. Only select malt whiskies from the Fuji-Gotemba distillery were used. The term "single malt" didn't exist in Japan at that time. It wasn't introduced until the 1990s.
The bottle and outer packaging show signs of use and age!
Taste: Grapefruit, pears, lemon, white pepper and licorice
