At the end of 2019, Kirin launched the successor to the 2018 Oak Master, a blend of discontinued Oak Masters. There are two different bottlings of the new Oak Master series. This one is the softer version, Mori Kaoru (Japanese for "forest scent"). It was also bottled at only 37% ABV and has a fresh but very smooth character.
