Karuizawa / Ocean Bright 5 Years 80s (Suntory Kakubin Copy)

With this bottling, Ocean hoped to capitalize on the success of Suntory's Kakubin Yellow. They copied the bottle shape almost perfectly and bottled a bright whisky that had matured for at least five years. Naturally, Suntory immediately took action against this copy, and this bottling quickly disappeared from the Japanese market. Today, this bottle is extremely rare. Due to its age, the bottle shows signs of storage and use. There is a small dent in the screw cap, but this does not affect the seal.
