This blended malt is characterized by its unusual color alone. It gets this reddish color because it is stored in old French oak barrels that contained red wine. A very nice and special whisky to finish off a good meal.
Aroma: Very strong in the nose the scent of red wine which later changes more into red berries and chocolateTaste: First it tickles the palate, then wood, pepper, nuts, red berries and chocolate follow
Aftertaste: Pleasant long finish with pepper, bittersweet and a hint of wood
