At the end of 2021, Bowmore launched the Devil's Cask Series with comic book artist Frank Quitely, who worked on Marvel and DC Comics. This 23-year-old single malt was first matured in ex-bourbon American hogshead casks before being finished for two years in Essencia Bariques (these casks are primarily used in winemaking). A total of only 6,666 bottles were bottled exclusively for Travel Retail and sold out within hours.
Only one bottle per person and household.
