In 2022, the Italian bottler Velier released the oldest Appelton bottling to date. The barrels date from 1984 and matured for 37 years in Jamaica. A total of only 1,800 bottles were produced at a hefty 63% ABV.
This is the 750ml bottle for the American market, which was also sold in Japan. An absolute rarity.
