In 2024, the Akkeshi and Hombo Mars distilleries exchanged casks from the Tsunuki distillery on Kyushu. Akkeshi thus created a Pure Malt Whisky from casks of both distilleries. This was Akkeshi's first bottling that did not use any whisky from their own production.
