This single malt from Akashi White Oak was aged for five years in new American white oak casks. The casks come from Ariake Sangyo, the only Japanese producer to build casks based on Western models.

At the end of the 5 years, this single malt was finished in Oloroso Sherry casks.

Only 1000 bottles were produced for the Japanese market bottled at 50% and these are extremely rare.

Aroma: Scent of dark cherries, orange marmalade and some currant
Taste: Intense taste of sherry, cherries, oranges and sweet tea
Aftertaste: Pleasant sweet finish with raisins, tea and oranges
