The Afuri Dewasanan Junmai Ginjo combines the characteristics of two exceptional rice varieties: Dewasanan from Yamagata and Miyama Nishiki. Brewed by Kikkawa Jozo with the hard spring water of Mount Afuri, this sake develops a warm, inviting bouquet of ripe stone fruit, honeydew melon, and a hint of caramel. On the palate, it is round and full-bodied with a gentle, natural sweetness. The moderate acidity perfectly balances the richness. Chilled with spicy Asian dishes or as a standalone after dinner – a sake with character and depth.
