Wakatsuru brought this limited blend to the Japanese market in late 2019. Only home-grown grains and malt whiskys with a minimum age of 5 years were used for this blend, which then got a finish of red wine barrels for 1 year. In addition to its smoky character, this gave it a stronger and fruity character.
