Shizuoka Distillery Single Cask "Jwhisky Goldfish " 2018-284 Peated

We are proud to present our first own bottling from Japan. It is part of a new series that will be launched over the next few years. As the first whisky in the series, we have selected a peated single cask whisky from the Shizuoka distillery. This whisky was distilled in the last existing potstill of Karuizawa and aged in bourbon casks for more than 3 years before being bottled at a strong 52.4%. It contains no colouring and was not cold-filtered. Only 46 bottles were bottled in total. 

The label shows two goldfish from a famous Japanese painting from the 19th century. The motif was printed on traditional Japanese Washi paper. For protection, the bottle is wrapped in a traditional Japanese Tenugui cloth. The label as well as the cloth were made in Japan.

The bottle is delivered in a high-quality wooden box.  

Only one bottle per person and household is possible.

For logistical reasons, we cannot accommodate requests for a specific bottle number.
