Shizuoka Distillery Single Cask "Jwhisky Goldfish" 2018-284 Peated

We are proud to present our first own bottling from Japan. It is part of a new series that will be released over the next few years. For the first whisky in the series, we have selected a peated single cask whisky from the Shizuoka distillery. This whisky was distilled in the last remaining pot still at the Karuizawa distillery and aged in bourbon casks for over three years before being bottled at a robust 52.4% ABV. It contains no coloring and was not chill-filtered. Only 46 bottles were produced in total.

The label depicts two goldfish from a famous 19th-century Japanese painting. The motif was printed on traditional Japanese washi paper. For protection, the bottle is wrapped in a traditional Japanese tenugui cloth. Both the label and the cloth were made in Japan.

The bottle comes in a high-quality wooden box.

Only one bottle per person and household is permitted.

For logistical reasons, we cannot accommodate requests for a specific bottle number.
