Shizuoka Distillery Single Cask "Jwhisky Carp" 2018-283 Unpeated

We are proud to present our second own bottling from Japan. It is part of a new series that will be released over the next few years. For the second whisky in the series, we have selected an unpeated single cask whisky from the Shizuoka distillery. This whisky was distilled in the last remaining pot still at the Karuizawa distillery and aged for over three years in bourbon barrels before being bottled at a robust 51.5% ABV. It contains no coloring and was not chill-filtered. A total of only 47 bottles were produced.

The label depicts a carp from a famous 19th-century Japanese painting. The motif is printed on traditional Japanese washi paper. For protection, the bottle is wrapped in a traditional Japanese tenugui cloth. Both the label and the cloth were made in Japan.

The bottle comes in a high-quality wooden box.

Only one bottle per person and household is permitted.

For logistical reasons, we cannot accommodate requests for a specific bottle number.
