Shizuoka Distillery Single Cask "Jwhisky Carp" 2018-283 Unpeated

We are proud to present our second own bottling from Japan. It is part of a new series that will be launched over the next few years. As the second whisky in the series, we have chosen an unpeated single cask whisky from the Shizuoka distillery. This whisky was distilled in the last existing potstill of Karuizawa and aged in bourbon casks for more than 3 years before being bottled at a strong 51.5%. It contains no colouring and was not cold-filtered. Only 47 bottles were bottled in total. 

The label shows a carp from a famous Japanese painting from the 19th century. The motif was printed on traditional Japanese Washi paper. For protection, the bottle is wrapped in a traditional Japanese Tenugui cloth. The label as well as the cloth were made in Japan.

The bottle is delivered in a high-quality wooden box.  

Only one bottle per person and household is possible.

For logistical reasons, we cannot accommodate requests for a specific bottle number.
