This whisky, bottled in 2015, is the continuation of Ichiro Akuto's dream of one day bottling a 30-year-old whisky. Compared to the 2013 bottling, it was not only stored in old bourbon barrels, but was also finished in Mizunara barrels (Japanese oak). This made the whisky even more complex.
Aroma: Smell of peppermint, anise, some hay and complex fruit aromas
Taste: Fruity with creamy elements
Aftertaste: long, pleasant finish with oak and fruit
