In the 1990s, Kirin, at that time still in cooperation with Seagrams, brought this 15 year old pure malt whiskey to the Japanese market. The bottles were made exclusively for the Japanese company Shibata Co. Ltd. produced in very small quantities and given as a gift to your best customers. Only selected malt whiskeys from the Fuji-Gotemba distillery were used.
