At the beginning of 2021, the northernmost distillery in Japan brought the first real bottling onto the market. Before that, all New Makes and whiskeys were only bottled in 180ml bottles. Whiskeys from bourbon, wine, sherry and mizunara barrels were used for this filling. This whiskey gets its smoky note from the local peat that comes from Hokkaido. In total there were only 15,000 bottles worldwide.
