In 2022, White Oak Akashi brought this bottling to the Japanese market. A few years ago, the White Oak Distillery and the Wakatsuru Saburomaru Brenenrei had swapped casks with each other. Sherry casks and Heavely Peated Bourbon casks were used for bottling and bottled at a strong 62%. The edition of this whisky was no larger than 1000 bottles.
