At the beginning of 2004 Suntory launched this bottling with special Suntory Pure Malt Whiskys and in 2010 it was withdrawn from the market. Only selected, at least 12 year old malt whiskys from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries were married and created a very balanced and mild Pure Malt Whisky. Since this bottling has been on the market for more than 7 years, this is very difficult to get.
Aroma: Fruits, wood and some smoke
Taste: Creamy, gentle, oak and fruits
Aftertaste: Medium, light, round finish with an oak note
