Usually in Japan whiskey manufacturers do not exchange casks with one another. In 2017 the Sabumaru / Wakatsuru barrels dived with the Nagahama Distillery. This blended malt world whiskey was launched on the Japanese market in early 2021. A total of only 600 bottles were produced and are completely sold out in Japan.
